The aim was to design a modern, flexible logo that enhances brand recognition while highlighting their expertise in writing for blogs, websites, catalogues, and reports.With no existing logo to refine, the challenge was to create a fresh visual identity that communicates trust, precision, and the art of writing. The design needed to work seamlessly across both digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency and versatility.

The logo

The final design is sleek and contemporary, featuring the “i” in “inchiostro” shaped like a fountain pen tip to represent writing and creativity. A black colour scheme provides timelessness, reinforcing the brand’s professional and elegant image. This minimalist approach keeps the logo memorable and perfectly aligned with the client’s identity.

Pattern

The supporting pattern draws inspiration from the fluid strokes of a fountain pen, symbolising the art of writing. Its elegant curves evoke creativity, precision, and the smooth flow of ideas – essential qualities in both journalism and copywriting. These flowing lines strengthen the brand’s focus on clarity and storytelling.
